BIble BOWL
BIBLE BOWL
HISTORY
In 1979, Pastor Trevor H.C. Baker, former Youth Director at the Northeastern Conference, was impressed by the Holy Spirit to conceive and create the Bible Bowl game in his quest to awaken the interest of the young people within his Youth Societies, and strengthen their devotional life. Each year, youth, young adults, and adults within their respective peer groups, after studying selected books of the Bible, gather together to play Bible Bowl games. These peer groups are: Pre-Juniors (6-9 years old), Junior Youth (10-15 years old), Senior Youth (16-22 years old), Young Adults (23-35), and Adults (36 years old +). There are Area, Conference and National Level Competitions. These games are intended to encourage youth, young adults and adults to study the Word of God and to find a degree of enjoyment while doing so.
