MISSION IMPACT 2025

This year's mission trip to Dominica is crafted for young adults ready to grow closer to Jesus while making a meaningful difference. Join us on the beautiful "Nature Isle of the Caribbean" as we serve local communities through hands-on projects, community outreach, and spiritual connection. This journey is an opportunity to deepen your faith, experience the vibrant culture of Dominica, and bring God’s love and hope to those in need.

MISSION IMPACT
DOMINICA 2025

On June 1, 2025, a group of over 30 young adult missionaries from the Southern England Conference landed on the small eastern Caribbean Island of Dominica. While the core mission was to assist with the construction of the Ebenezer Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School, the team also engaged in Vacation Bible School, community health activities and student career prep.

Currently, the Ebenezer Elementary is home for approximately 228 students, ranging from pre-kindergarten to the sixth grade. The school is being housed in the basement of the Roseau Seventh-day Adventist Church, where it is vastly overpopulated and unable to accept students from an extended waiting list. Interestingly, over 60% of the students who currently attends the school are from non-Adventist homes.

A new school, with a capacity to host over 500 students will be a powerfully vehicle in spreading the advent message to the community.
Each missionary sacrifices his or her time, talent and financial resources towards this mission. Their main desire is to build up the kingdom of God by being good stewards of the gifts that God placed upon them. As they interaction with the natives of the island, it was obvious that they were not motivated by self and self-gratification but were being driven by the Holy Spirit to make a difference.

As Matthew 25 teaches us, we will not know the full impact of what we do on this earth until Christ comes again. It is when we hear those powerful words from the Master, “Come you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” that we truly realized that every single life we touch on this earth we are indeed touching Heaven.

For the least we do for our brethren, here and abroad, we do it to Him.
